Must be able to research online and provide a detailed yet concise written final analysis.
Must be able to research online to learn how to fix smaller issues with our vehicles; for example but not limited to mirror, light and windshield wiper replacement.
Must be able to competently and efficiently accomplish all assigned tasks on the To Do List
Observe the staff and communicate with management so only appropriate days are taken off.
Observe the staff and communicate with management behaviors of the drivers that should be addressed. Examples include; attendance, timeliness, customer service, efficiency, etc.
Manage the time off schedule and communicate with management.
Look at the Daily Status Worksheet throughout the day to ensure that all routes are run with efficiency. Report to management when all drivers left for their routes, returned from their routes and any significant happenings throughout the day.
Act as a liaison between FedEx's Customer PickUp Coordination team (CPC) and our drivers communicating changes back and forth in our pick up and delivery schedules.
Support pickup and delivery operations as needed
Provide support (extra driver or backup) for delivery routes
Interact with FedEx Ground personnel as appropriate: convey feedback from FedEx Ground to both employees and ownership on a timely basis (daily)
Interact with or be the Business Contact with FedEx
Take action on communications between business contact and FedEx Ground personnel
Provide feedback to ownership on a timely basis (daily)
Maintain fleet
Make sure the drivers turn in their vehicle inspections timely and report to management if inaccurate or anything else needs to be addressed.
Not only take the vehicles in for repairs but be able to analyze/research the most cost effective repair solution. The most cost effective solution takes into account the cost of labor, cost of parts, where the repair performed and by whom.
Be able to drive your own car to run short errands, follow up on vehicle repairs and drive to the scene of an accident when called upon.
Make cost effective decisions as to when a rental truck should be used.
Record, monitor and analyze timely all vehicle maintenance and repairs to the website www.GroundsWorld.com
Communication with ownership
Daily emails, faxes and phone calls to ownership on status of operations
Complete the Daily Progress Report

Monthly
Order, store and keep track of uniforms for new drivers and Peak drivers
Maintain fleet
Complete the Monthly Progress Report
Follow the vehicle preventative maintenance guidelines as prescribed usually every 7,500 miles.
Submit the Monthly Vehicle Maintenance Form for our vehicles to FedEx.

Ad Hoc
Do occasional ride alongs with drivers to see their level of service and complete a Driver Evaluation form
Provide some training for new drivers and communicate with ownership the status of training as provided by the Trainers and received by the new drivers.
Provide some coaching and feedback for drivers
Missed, early or late pickups
Missed deliveries (or wrong address)
Other coaching as necessary - behavioral, new tools or techniques
Do in person interviews to hire new drivers, both seasonal and permanent.
Respond to requests from ownership for information (tbd)


Although this is generally a non-delivery driving position when 2 or more drivers are out some driving and deliveries will be expected therefore Experience, Education, and Certifications Required:
Requires a minimum of 1 year of commercial driving experience within the past 3 years,OR (5) years commercial driving experience within the last 10 years.
Must be approved by FedEx
Requires a High School Diploma or similar.
Must pass drug screen, criminal background check
Must have valid driver's license
Must have a clean driving record (defined as no more than 2 moving violations or 1 at fault accident in the last 36 months)


Compensation $550-$600 a week starting depending on experience. Pay increases come with increased efficiency. Paid every FridayEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The fraudster will send a check to the victim who has accepted a job. The check can be for multiple reasons such as signing bonus, supplies, etc. The victim will be instructed to deposit the check and use the money for any of these reasons and then instructed to send the remaining funds to the fraudster. The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
